It taught me to stand in the rain, to live in the moment and to stop being in such a rush. It’s changed so many things in a negative light but this may be one of the more positive changes. Life isn’t everlasting and sometimes you need to realize that you need to actually stop and experience things because one day it’s over.
Sometimes I feel like I’m so busy always trying to chase the next moment that I miss everything. Like so many missed experiences and things left unappreciated.
And the bottom line is that it’s taught me to just not give a single fuck anymore. To drama with people or friends, fuck them. So many times I’ve bite my tongue or felt afraid to do things I want because I was afraid to displease someone or afraid of how they would feel. That’s over. You’re not living your life to please anyone.
I live for me.
