How do I delete my AmebaOwnd Website?

So you want to delete your AmebaOwnd website. WTF why you leaving? JK. So as simply as you created it, you can delete it as well. Keep in mind that to remove your website from Google results quicker, your going to want to submit the URL’s for removal in Google. As long as the website has actually been deleted Google will remove it from search results.

Removing your website can be done on the desktop version in the settings panel, or on the mobile app under “Basic Settings”. I’m just going to show you the setting on Desktop since it’s in English on the mobile app and pretty much foolproof.

From desktop, select 基本設定 from underneath the 設定 (Settings) Menu on the left.

Scroll down until you see the section titled “サイトを削除” and click the サイトを削除 link in red. This won’t immediately delete your site, you’ll be asked to confirm.

Read over the terms and click the checkbox to confirm you have and agree. 

Type out the actual address of your AmebaOwnd Site and click to continue, or hit キャンセル to cancel. Keep in mind if you delete your website it’s gone FO-EVA. Nice knowing ya!
