Why I Changed My Mind About Schema App

I’ve thought long and hard honestly about writing a negative review, and this just might be a personal experience with Schema App, I had vouched for it in the past, but there’s several reasons now why I just can’t even deal with it. It sucks to go back on your initial review but it just doesn’t make the cut for me anymore.

You can’t edit Schema locally and then say upload it. If you could download the database to your phone or your computer, then have it sync with their servers that would be a better deal. 

But the situation is, I’m not sure if this is just cause I’m in Taiwan, but to do anything is slow as fuck. 

 Imagine making an edit to a field in schema markup, then having to wait 30 seconds for the page to load, then going back two pages in the form to make another edit, waiting another minute, applying that edit and waiting another 30 seconds, you see what I’m saying. For all the time it saves to remotely deploy Schema markup via Schema App, you waste that much more because the site is slow as f, and you can’t get your database to edit locally. 

That translates to you just never wanting to use it, and at 30 dollars US a month for Schema markup that if your looking for Google results you can accomplish with a much less costly plugin for Wordpress, it doesn’t make it worth it.
