No. Probably not because the platform way way to restricted for the longest time and the new features are like waiting on the world to change.

What’s the point of posting a header in English and then a bunch of Jap? Like I can do it cause I’m not selling anything (Yet) LMFAO. But seriously tho.

I feel like Amebaownd is Ameblos side project just because they’ve got so much money to blow from their main projects. Like come on this is pretty much common sense.

Introducing paid storage options for photos at 990円 or whatever isn’t enough to entice people to get on your platform. Google has like 2TB of storage for that. Actually they have more then the premium plan and you don’t have to pay lol.

And the whole SEO for businesses.. how? There’s no JavaScript, you can’t enable SSL on a custom domain, and you don’t have full control of the platform anyways so the actual limitation of what your going to be able to achieve in terms of SEO is pretty much dictated by what Ameba lets you do.

 It’s alright for what I’m doing or some others just posting thoughts and journals and crap but for a business model? It’s way too restricting. And I started working on my folks website here initially before Wordpress and that whole mess. 

Wordpress is a lot more work but the benefit obviously far outweighs Ameba.

Stop playing like half and half. Crappy “features” aren’t features if no one really wants them.

Why would anyone want to have a custom domain on Ameba when it’s on http, like really over half the internet is on SSL, and you can pretty much either use Letsencrypt or cloudflare and have your site on https for free, like a long time ago, so whatever Ameba is thinking with custom domains because you’re going to lose half your SEO on being on an unencrypted domain, or having your business domain as a cName to Amebas? Wtf lol, NO.

The app is actually really pretty in terms of UI tho you gotta give it that. Not so much in the regular view tho. It would be deadly if you were able to run the platform on a VPS or a Amebaownd setup but with more access. 

And AMP is also very very lacking (and the advertisements you’re paying to remove on the premium plan STILL show on the amp version of your posts)

Like come on you can’t even edit HTML in the mobile app, that’s not a huge development project, and what exactly is the problem with allowing people to have custom javascript as well. At least you’ve got to get HTML editing on the go and then Javascript on desktop if you must.

Or embedding, if there could be more rich style embeds then just like hey here’s a link click me and go to a new window, like no. It’s 2018, we want to be able to post audio or video and have it play in posts. 

And the whole photo story thing makes no sense. That’s not a different post type, it’s just posting a bunch of pictures into the same exact post type with no difference.

Why would you put the Facebook and Twitter options to share after publishing a post, and leave Ameba to publish immediately? So confusing.

Also other changes this time around, “more” buttons are customizable, and the amount of pictures via Instagram or tweets you show intially is customizeable.

For all those businesses who must be on Ameba on their phones or paying 800 bucks for SEO. Lol.
